TrellisWorks has been appointed to support connectivity at construction sites across an 80km stretch of High Speed 2 (HS2) for leading civil engineering and construction joint venture EKFB (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall). Supporting six EKFB construction sites across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire, TrellisWorks is helping to maintain and deliver WAN internet connection to allow construction site efficiencies and day to day operations to be maintained.
Keeping main works contractor connected on Britain's largest infrastructure project
TrellisWorks’ Director, Grant Holman, said it was a great opportunity to support one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects providing vital connectivity to support operations on site.

Over the last few years, we have helped construction sites get up and running 80% quicker than traditional leased line options and enabled digitally enhanced technology to drive remote working and greater efficiencies across the project.
“Our continued collaboration means that we will be able to build on the successes so far and help the project to build greater connections and technology across all its sites.”
The team have been appointed for the next three years to support the connectivity on site for the main works civils contractor. The connection allows real-time monitoring, improves communication and facilitates increased digital platforms for greater efficiencies on site.

Since 2020, TrellisWorks has supported EKFB in delivering bespoke internet solutions which support everything from CCTV, daily operations, office and site connections across an 80km stretch of High Speed 2 (HS2).
The project allows operations to run smoothly and to keep sites connected across the whole 80km site.
